Pilot Application

Before you apply

What this will take

There are 20 places. Applications are reviewed as they arrive and the pilot closes
once the places are filled, so applying early gives you the best chance.

  • Everyone accepted receives the Transition Course, which is about
one hour of video plus short knowledge checks.
  • The Refresher cohort adds roughly one hour and forty five minutes
of video. Allow about four hours in total, including the knowledge checks and your
    feedback.
  • The Practitioner cohort adds roughly five hours and forty five
minutes of video across ten modules. Allow about eight to nine hours in total. This is
the fuller commitment, so please choose it only if you can give it the time.

You can work through it whenever suits you, in as many sittings as you like. There
are no live sessions and no deadlines beyond submitting your feedback at the end.

New to the HHSRS? You do not need to have worked with the 2006
system to follow the Transition Course. It explains how the reformed system works and
why it changed, and the Practitioner Course then builds your competence from first
principles.
